ORGANISERS of the annual fete — The Victoria Falls Carnival — have announced Jah Prayzah as one of the performers.
The jamboree is set for April 28 to 30 with the main events taking place at the lush grounds at Elephant Hills Resort.
The organisers announced Jah Prayzah’s participation through their social media much to the excitement of the artiste’s fans.
Jah Prayzah joins Black Motion, Enzo Ishal, Anita Jaxon, Mac G and Sol, LKG Top Cheri, DJ Rimo, DJ Nitefreak, Mafikizolo, Han CKhoisan, Mokoomba among others.
Last year’s headline acts DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and Shasha didn’t turn up for the festival, which led to the organisers initiating the arrest of Maphorisa and Kabza De Small for breach of contract.
This year’s edition will also be hosted in Livingstone, Zambia — 10 kilometres to the north of the Zambezi River at the five-star Radisson Blu Resort.

The Radisson Blu Resort in Livingstone will host the Mosi Day of Thunder Festival, offering a wide range of fun activities.
The carnival director Craig Bright, speaking to Standard Style said the idea of hosting the event in Livingstone doesn’t do away with the carnival’s traditional Victoria Falls and Zimbabwean flair.
“For the first time in its history, the Vic Falls Carnival will cross the Zambezi to include the Zambian side in a host of standalone music experiences at the beautiful, five-star Radisson Blu Resort, reaching more fans and creating a bigger festival footprint than ever before,” said Bright.
“The spirit of the Vic Falls Carnival remains the same — beautiful locations, competitive packages, a wide selection of artistes from across the continent, and uniting music and adventure fans from around the world in a celebration of all things Africa.”
