Tourists and fun lovers are in for a December treat, with a road trip from Bulawayo to Nyanga via Great Zimbabwe, organised by Bush Diaries, a new tourism company.

The trip, dubbed Peak of Nyangani, will see visitors leaving Bulawayo on December 27 to Nyanga via Masvingo and returning to the city aboard a bus on December 31.

Patrons are expected to pay US$250 for the trip.

The event will be one of the many events that will headline the festive season as many people cool off from the pressing year which was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and prevented people to travel, meet and have fun together

The trip’s activity package will include, but not limited to Great Zimbabwe, World’s View, Rhodes Museum, Nyangombe Falls, Mutarazi Falls, Trout Hatchery, Sky Walk, Zip Line, Nyangani Challenge, mountain climbing, horse riding and swimming, among others.

Founder of Bush Diaries,  Lindani  Ndlovu said preparations were going on well and people are making their bookings for their December treat.

“It’s been a mountain to climb trying to organise everything to have a successful tour from transport to buying food stuffs, but we are pulling through. people seem to like the tour looking at how they are paying and the continuous enquiries and I am sure they can’t wait for the departure,” Ndlovu said.

“The choice of Nyanga, I feel like it’s one of the best touristic destinations in which a lot of people in Zimbabwe, let me say Matabeleland haven’t been exposed to and just trying to instil the culture of travelling to local people.”

Ndlovu added that Bush Diaries is all about providing a chance for everyone to travel.

“Our vision is to try and offer affordable tours in which everyone can have a chance to travel, looking at our monthly payment plan in which one can pay until they are eligible to travel,” he said.

Bush Diaries has also scheduled a trip to Binga and another one, a surprise African location, outside Zimbabwe.
