ZIMBABWE senior women’s soccer team are set to rekindle their rivalry with Mozambique after the two teams were drawn in group D of the 2024 Hollywoodbets Cosafa Women’s Championship scheduled for South Africa later this month.
The tournament is scheduled for October 22 to November 2.
Lesotho is the third team in Group D.
Zimbabwe have a score to settle against Mozambique after crashing out of last year’s Cosafa tournament following a 2-0 defeat in the semi-finals against the eastern neighbours.
The Mighty Warriors went on to finish the tournament in fourth place after losing 1-0 to Zambia in the third-place playoff.
This year’s tournament, set for Port Elizabeth, will feature a record 14 teams.
