ONE of the Zimbabwe Rugby team’s sponsors Tenga4Wena has expressed pride at the team’s success after winning the Africa Cup for the first time 12 years in Uganda last week.

The Sables managed to beat North Africans Algeria Algeria 29-3 in a dominant display in the final of the continent’s premier rugby tournament.

The Piet Benade-coached side also accounted for hosts Uganda and Namibia in the quarterfinals and semifinals respectively.

The basic goods and commodities hamper service provider, who became one of Zimbabwe Rugby’s partners in January this year,  said they are proud to be associated with the victorious Sables brand.

“We are very proud to be associated with the Sables. The victory is a testament to the talent and potential of the Zimbabwean national team. Having been crowned the Africa Champions brings us pride and we want to boast of the team's achievement. It is rewarding to see all the team’s effort and commitment pay off with a championship,” Tenga4Wena head of sales and public relations Rudo Chimbile said.

“We have only recently been given the opportunity to become sponsors of the Sables. And now we're ecstatically pleased to be known as partners of winners. "We're in this for the long term. As long as Sables needs us to support them, we are willing and able to be there for them.
