MULTICHOICE has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the 2024 UEFA Euros, giving access to this popular football championship to DStv viewers through its SuperSport and Showmax platforms.
Charity Njanji, head of corporate affairs and public relations at MultiChoice Zimbabwe said the tournament will kick off tomorrow with a Germany-Scotland opener, giving sports fans a month of some of the best football available on the planet.
“This exclusive arrangement and the use of both the SuperSport and Showmax platforms gives DStv viewers in Zimbabwe the same access to this exciting championship as that enjoyed the world over and we are thrilled to share this news,” she said.
The Showmax Premier League is revolutionising football access for fans, giving greater mobility and affordability to mobile users, who can view matches live while commuting, in the office, in a coffee shop — in fact, anywhere.
Njanji said Showmax Premier League could also be linked to one of Showmax’s entertainment packages, allowing users to view Showmax Originals, international and local series, films and children’s shows in addition to football. All content is presented in high definition format.
UEFA Euro 2024 is being hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14 and all matches will be screened on DStv live, with full build-up and review commentary, as well as match repeats.
