Highlanders’ Castle Lager Premier Soccer League winless run stretched to five matches yesterday after the giants forced a draw against GreenFuel in Chisumbanje.
Bosso last won a league match when they defeated Caps United 2-0 at Barbourfields Stadium in April. Since then, they have played four draws and lost once.
Yesterday they were facing another defeat until Lynoth Chikuwa salvaged a point for his side with a late second-half leveller.
This came after Bosso had been reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Mvelo Khoza 59 minutes on.

The goal took Chikuhwa’s tally to seven so far this season as he continues to chase the Golden Boot Award.
Bosso have scored just three goals in their last five matches, which has been their biggest undoing.
With the draw, Bosso are now seven points off the league leaders and now sit fifth on the table.
The result means that Highlanders have played three one-all draws in as many matches.
Considering that they went into the match ravaged by injuries, yesterday’s result could count as a point gained rather than two dropped.
But having started so brightly, at some point leading the log, coach Kelvin Kaindu would be concerned that they have fallen far this fast.
