JOSEPH did not reproduce a leader who had the same gifts and even the wisdom he had, so a Pharaoh came that did not know the things he did for Egypt.
Men are obsessed with upgrading and improving systems and if one does not improve or grow within the system, they are replaced.
The main purpose for mentorship is to ensure one’s ideas are carried forward to the next generation. A mentee will carry over the ideas of his teacher and will input his own thoughts and anointing thereby improving the system.
Joseph did not have anyone he trained so when he died his vision also died. Who shall be the next generation of leaders in Africa.
Most African heads barely have young men among their ranks yet they desire for their vision to be carried over into the next generation. Who are you mentoring and who has capacity to sit in that position you’re in.
A mentor carries a vision but if he does not raise people who will carry over the vision his efforts are in vain.

Solomon was raised by David as evident in the book of Proverbs which carries lessons from his father.
Even though Solomon was trained he did not groom his own son who made errors that split the kingdom of Israel.
The world is always growing and the only way someone or something remains relevant is when it continuously upgrades itself. A person grows when he trains and duplicates himself in another person.
When men upgrade, they usually do not want to throw away anything. So, they enslave the oblique thing in order not to lose the initial investment and they use it against its initial purpose or programme.
Most people are now slaves to systems they once were leaders in because they failed to grow and improve. If one does not grow or improve the system they were once leaders it enslaves them. When education started, it was mainly Bible-based studies and the lectures centred on Christianity. But because Christians did not grow and upgrade, they have become slaves of a system they once were leaders in.
Man grows through various ways but anything that does not reproduce is enslaved or finally destroyed no wonder why the world regards the church as useless and considered non-essential.
God in his wisdom has emphasised fatherhood in our generation because of the value it brings and the growth it causes. When God sends a man, He gives them knowledge and gifts that help the individual govern and manage the system he was given.
That man is also called to train and raise those that will govern and manage the system when he is gone. These individuals come in also with their own gifts and knowledge which improves the system. The reason why telecommunications has improved is because the present-day manufactures used the knowledge they received from old systems and made improvements.
You may be surprised that the latest technology still uses one or two concepts from the foundational technology. For me to be a strong Christian, I need the old information from the old church and improve upon it with the information I have and also give my own information to the next generation so they can improve upon it. Joseph could have left someone with the same knowledge he had and that person would have governed Egypt, but he did not and he left his office unoccupied. If we as believers are to influence the whole world, we need to reposition ourselves and upgrade ourselves as well.
God bless you
