Rainbow Tourism Group says they are in talks with Winky D’s team over the use of the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) main auditorium on December 31.
On Friday, Winky D through his lawyers Tsunga Law International, indicated that he could not hold the traditional crossover at the HICC after the hospitality group allegedly booked another event on the night.
However, RTG spokesperson Pride Khumbula said they were in discussions with Winky D's team.
“We are currently in cordial discussions with Winky D’s team,” said Khumbula.
“We are, therefore, surprised by the reports circulating.”
HICC has of late turned out to be the venue of choice for the country's indoor gigs.
