BULAWAYO councillors have cried foul over the poor state and shortage of vocational training centres (VTCs) in the city.
According to latest full council minutes, ward 29 councillor Roy Sekete said churches can also be approached to avail buildings for vocational training.
Ward 20 councillor Sandra Sibindi requested that VTC be established in all the wards in Bulawayo.
“There were farm houses in Nkulumane and Emganwini which could be renovated to make them VTCs,” she said.
Councillor Susan Sithole bemoaned the poor state of a VCT in her ward 11.
The concerns of the councillors were noted and the matter was recommended to be resolved.
