TRENDY Three Investment (TTI) at the weekend hosted a luncheon for the elderly at Entembeni Old People’s Home in Luveve, Bulawayo, as part of its corporate social responsibility.
TTI spokesperson Caroline Nleya said it was heartening to reconnect with both the staff and inmates at the home.
“During our visit, we engaged in meaningful conversations and enjoyed a delightful lunch together. Building relationships with our elders not only enriches their lives but also reinforces our vital role in fostering a sense of community and belonging,” said Nleya.
“We are proud to continue to support Entembeni Old Peoples Home and look forward to future collaborations that empower and uplift our senior citizens.”
TTI’s donations to Entembeni Old People’s Home last winter included detergents, diapers and groceries worth US$4 000.
Earlier this year, the company announced that senior citizens will be accorded reduced parking fees.
“Senior citizens have started enjoying their monthly 25 hours of free parking time and we continue to register eligible senior citizens,” Nleya said.
The privilege was advertised for senior citizens to register in January 2024.
