ASPIRING Independent candidate for Mpopoma/Mzilikazi constituency, Pardon Tapfumaneyi, says he has continued with his charity work in the area despite having left for the United Kingdom.
Tafumaneyi told Southern Eye that his initiative targets ordinary citizens across the political divide to promote unity in the constituency.
"This initiative also debates on national healing and also proposals of projects that can better the lives of Mzilikazi/ Mpopoma constituency residents,” he said.
Tafumaneyi said besides the charity work that he coordinates with help of friends abroad, they also offer a platform for debate to better the lives of people in his constituency.
“We allow diverse political expressions,” he said.
“We host academics and political commentators to discuss current political issues that cover national, regional and international issues.”
