A man from Bulawayo threatened to kill a fellow citizen after masquerading as a soldier.
Ntandoyenkosi Ndlovu was not asked to plead to the charge of impersonating a soldier and threatening to kill Timothy Rwizi when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube on Friday.
Ncube remanded him out of custody to February 26 for trial on free bail.
The court was told that on January 14 this year Rwizi was at his Mathukuthuku shop in Sauerstown when Ndlovu arrived and confronted him over an unspecified issue.
He claimed to be a soldier before threatening to kill him.
Rwizi reported the threats to the police leading to Ndlovu's arrest.
