A 34-YEAR-OLD Bulawayo man is on the run after allegedly killing his landlord.
Admire Mnkandla allegedly killed his landlord, Mgcini Sibanda-Gwemende (44) on March 18 following a misunderstanding after he had been given notice to vacate Sibanda-Gwemende’s property in Nkulumane.
In a statement, Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube said Mnkandla was given notice to vacate in January this year, but refused, leading to constant clashes.
“A police report was made after the deceased was found by a neighbour a day later while sitting on the toilet seat. He had two cuts on the forehead consistent with having been caused by a sharp object, bruises on both knees and blood stains on the left arm,” Ncube said.
“Members of the public are warned against violence,” he added.
Meanwhile, Sibanda-Gwemende will be buried in Mambanjeni, Lower Gwelo, today.
