Media personality Alice Tagwira was in Lusaka, Zambia, recently for a cultural exchange programme in her pursuit for a “borderless Africa, where female leaders thrive and drive development”.
Tagwira is the editor-in-chief of She Glows Africa Magazine, a pioneering publication dedicated to celebrating and unifying female influencers across the continent, including politicians, activists, musicians, actresses and corporate leaders.
Her visit to the Zambian capital, marked by high-profile meetings and a media tour, was aimed at bringing African women together to speak with one voice in their thrust for continental growth.
“My visit to Lusaka was part of a broader journey across various African countries where l am tirelessly working to bring together influential women,” Tagwira said.
“My goal is to create a cohesive network of female leaders who can speak with one voice and work towards a shared vision of progress and prosperity for Africa.

Apart from meetings, Tagwira had a series of media engagements, passionately spreading her message of unity and empowerment.

“One of the highlights of my visit was a breakfast meeting hosted by She Glows Africa Magazine at the Best Western Lusaka Hotel.
“This gathering brought together prominent female influencers from diverse fields, fostering an environment of collaboration and shared purpose.
“The meeting was hailed as very fruitful, with participants discussing innovative ideas and forming new partnerships to drive their collective goals.”
According to Tagwira, her visit to Lusaka left an inspiring legacy of empowerment and unity.
“My efforts to unite female influencers across Africa and my vision of a borderless continent are catalysing a new era of collaboration and growth,” she said.

“My dedication to fostering unity and supporting female leaders is not just transforming individual lives, but is paving the way for a more prosperous and equitable continent.”
Tagwira believes She Glows Africa Magazine is a beacon of empowerment and solidarity for women in Africa.
Late last year, the mgazine hosted prominent Zambian media personality Mutale Mwanza, who expressed joy over her visit to Zimbabwe.
Mwanza said the visit to Zimbabwe had potential to create more opportunities for female media personalities from both sides of the Zambezi River.
In March, She Glows Africa Magazine hosted another cultural exchange programme that was meant to highlight the shared cultural heritage and historical connections between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
