In my recent article I wrote on the misconception of some of our Christian sects who hide behind the doctrine of grace to freely commit sin.
They quote particular verses from the Bible written by Apostle Paul directed at particular groups of people to support their belief.
I tried to explain why St Paul wrote some conflicting statements based on the religious inclinations of his targets.
He fully explained his tactics in 1 Corinthians 9:19-23.
Unfortunately, leaders of these sects have failed to grasp or understand his methods of spreading the gospel to various audiences, to the detriment of their followers.
The consequences of not comprehending this have corrupted our Christian faith and brought new meanings contrary to the expectations of the Lord our God.
For the benefit of the followers, may I again repeat the exact written words of St. Paul in relation to some of his outwardly contradicting teachings, which have now brought some disharmony within our Christian faith.
He wrote: “For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all that I might win more followers. To the Jews I became like the Jews, in order to win Jesus; to those under the law, I became as one under the law, that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law (the Gentiles) I became as one outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. I do it for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessing.”

This clearly explains why, in some of his letters, he preaches as if he is in support of the law, yet in others he seems to castigate the law.
As he indicates, he places himself as one within the people he targets, as if aligning himself with their religious beliefs merely to gain their respect for the sake of the gospel, of the promotion and understanding of Jesus Christ.
I have labelled those that teach people that we are no longer under God’s law as “the Gentiles of our Christian faith”.
This is in line with St. Paul’s own revelations of his schemes of operation in spreading the gospel.
These sects have aligned themselves with the Gentiles of Apostle Paul’s era.
They have evidently missed his corresponding teachings directed at those in support of God’s law and the others mentioned in his words of cation.
Unfortunately, these sects have become the conduits whose channels Satan now uses to perpetuate his works of evil.
As a reminder, Jesus Christ himself spoke; “Truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of Heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven”.
Now, if you teach people in error that you are no longer under the law (before heaven and earth pas away), which Jesus Christ are you following?
Our Heavenly Father, the Lord our God, has these promises of blessings to those that continue to follow his law: “If you obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your beasts, and increase of your cattle, and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading trough. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
"The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing upon you in your barns, and in all that you undertake; and he will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
"The Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and walk in his ways. And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of you. And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground. The Lord will open to you his good treasury the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall tend upward only, and not downward; if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day, being careful to do them, and if you do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand or the left, to go after other gods to serve them (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)” Amen!!
