HIGHER and Tertiary Education minister Jonathan Moyo and his wife Beatrice console each other soon after arrival of their late daughter Zanele’s body at Harare International Airport yesterday.
Higher Education and Tertiary minister Jonathan Moyo’s daughter Zanele, a second-year student at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her off-campus apartment last Saturday. From the airport, the body was taken to a private funeral parlour in the city with burial set to be held tomorrow at Glen Forest Cemetery.
Pictures by Shepherd Tozvireva Meanwhile, President Robert Mugabe last night paid his condolences to the Moyo family and pledged to keep pressing the South African authorities to go deeper with investigations to determine the cause of Zanele’s death. Mourners are gathered at Number 7 Rosary Close in Borrowdale.
