The suspect was remanded in custody to March 4 when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Rekina Dzikiti.
Prosecutor Tatenda Mukatera told the court that sometime in October last year, the suspect visited the woman at her home in Chitungwiza in the afternoon and told her he wanted to have sexual intercourse with her, but she refused.
The State alleges he threatened to kill her before instructing her to go to the toilet whereupon he ordered her to remove her undergarments and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent.
The suspect allegedly visited the woman again on a date unknown to the State, but in the same month of October and repeated the act after threatening to kill the woman with a knife which was in his pocket.
The State also alleges the suspect repeated the rape during the same month, but this time he had sexual intercourse with her in the dining room.
