The video premiered on MTV Base last week, much to the delight of the rapper.

No Dhiri, loosely translated to “No deal”, is MC Chita’s first single off his forthcoming album Chitarisiro set to be released later this year.

The video, which features upcoming rapper, Swiska El Capitano, was shot in Harare’s high-density suburb of Highfield.

“I am still working on the album and looking forward to releasing at least three videos before the release of the album as a way to resurrect my fan base, since it has been long without giving my fans something new,” MC Chita said.

“The video is doing well on ZBC TV and as well as MTV Base. Making it on MTV Base shows that it is a good video and we get to be recognised by Africa as a whole.”

The musician, who made his debut appearance in 2003 on Brown Sugar’s album Running Laps, continued to make his name in the music industry releasing projects like Destination Reality, The Hustle, The Struggle and The Life, award-winning album Kings Rendezvous: HRE in collaboration with Junior Brown, The Ambassador’s Son and his last album Gold, Green, Red.
