This will be the first time the two musicians will perform at the joint this year.
Zhakata recently released his latest album Mutungadzose, while Chimbetu, who had taken a sabbatical, announced his return to the music scene with a new offering, Covenant.
Show organiser Daniel Masaiti, said he was bringing the two musicians under one roof to cater for dendera and Zora music fans.
“We try to bring diversity. Zhakata and Chimbetu are mature and experienced musicians who have their own fan bases. Recently they both released albums and this is the first time this year for them to perform at The Legends, let alone to hold a joint show,” he said.
“The scenario will be like the merging of dendera and Zora music under one roof, all united for the sake of entertainment. The fans are in for quality time with the two musicians.”
Zhakata is well-known for his polished acts coupled by well-choreographed footwork by his dancers. His renewed romance with his fans, starved of his music, will force the wordsmith to play yesteryear songs like Nhamodzenyika, Mugove, Mubikira, Upenyu Mutoro and Vagoni Vebasa.

On the other hand Chimbetu is also expected to play renditions by his late siblings Simon and Naison before giving the fans his own dose.
