The song titled Maranatha (Come Lord Jesus) will feature musicians, Blessing Shumba, Mathias Mhere, Agatha Murudzwa, Leonard Zhakata, Olinda Marova, Josh Kays and his wife, Juliet, South Africans Muzi, Putuma and Zandie.

Chivaviro, the man behind the hit song Ebenezer: Tiri Munyasha that featured gospel greats like Charles Charamba, Noel Zembe, Pastor Haisa and Mechanic Manyeruke among others, said the collaboration was a request from fans.

In an interview from his base in South Africa, Chivaviro said the new song, being produced by Blessing Masanga of Artisan Studios, who also did the hit song Ebenezer, is a special gift to gospel music lovers.

“Fans should not expect another Ebenezer, definitely not. This is Maranatha and the artistes we have called to help us are different too. It is just another collaborative effort set to pass a unified message from different artistes in one song,” he said.

“We had to record the song following a special request by most of our fans to give them a second collaboration. The recording is almost done. We will surely present this gift to the people on December 21.”

Chivaviro said the song encourages believers to call upon the Lord during times of crisis.

“The message is strong. We are saying, whatever we might be going through, let us call upon Jesus our Lord. He will always be God, He doesn’t change and He has solutions to every crisis at any level,” he said.
