NewsDay in 30 seconds takes its lenses to Mbare Musika, where a combination of inadequate service delivery, poor drainage systems and incessant rains have resulted in the country’s biggest marketplace turning into a hotspot for typhoid and other water-borne diseases.

While the Health ministry has condemned Mbare, and Harare City Council has expressed its concerns, there seems to be no action being taken. In other words, Mbare is a typhoid disaster that is currently going on, unabated.
