LEADING local fashion brand JanJam on Friday hosted a fashion show in which they showcased a wide range of dress codes to suit a variety of occasions.

Janjam founder Cynthia Bizure told NewsDay that it was important for people to be educated on how to dress occasionally.
“People have to be conscious about what they wear, your sixth sense should just tell you what’s suitable for a certain occasion,” she said.
“However, there are people who override that sense and do the opposite, for example, dressing in revealing clothes whilst visiting your mother-in-law or dressing in jeans while going to a wedding. It does not look good so as a designer, I am here to advise people on how to dress.”
Some of the looks that were showcased were Summer Splash, a summer look incorporating bright colours, Amnesia, a night out or party type of dressing, One Night Only, a cocktail style and Forever which is worn on weddings and any black tie events, Bonnie and Clyde, the red and black outfit and the Impulse.
Local musicians Trevor Dongo and Prayer Soul performed at the show with former Miss Zimbabwe 2015, Emily Kachote on the ramp.
Bizure, who has always been passionate about fashion, but never got educational skills on designing, has dressed several local celebrities including Soul Jah Love, Dongo and Michael Mahendere.
