- And he has been aptly named after his father except, of course, the middle name- Kapfupi- is yet to apply to the new prince.
COMEDIAN-CUM musician Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima has been blessed with a bouncing baby boy.

Born at around 10am last Saturday, the baby has been named after his father.
The excited Kapfupi told NewsDay Freddy Junior was born at Epworth Poly Clinic.
“This is our baby number five with Mai Nga and we are very excited,” Kapfupi said.
“The baby and his mother are both OK and she is now resting from showbiz taking care of the child.”
The sarcastic artiste was quick to point out that the newly born would soon be inheriting his father’s baby set that he coined adult set.

Kapfupi sometimes wears a woollen baby set that he calls an adult set.
“His mother is in trouble with this boy,” he said laughing.
“He will inherit my adult set although for now he will stick to baby sets while for his stage attire I predict he will wear a trousers without a waist band.”
Real name Precious Kabrito, Mai Nga has in the past few months afforded her husband new comedy lines when he jabbed her baby bulge.
But she would in most cases defy the hefty tummy and toss it disdainfully like an unwanted plaything featuring in her traditional dance slot.
Kapfupi, however, said Mai Nga will now be taking time off the stage to take care of the child.
He said for now he will be concentrating on rural areas for his musical shows.
“When we started it was the rural folk that supported us most and they keep supporting us even now so we are committing time to performances in different areas around the country,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kapfupi took time to warn people of pirates selling fake DVDs under his name.
He said there are two productions in which he features only as a guest that are being sold under the name Kapfupi.
“I featured only for a two-minute scene on some up-coming actors’ production and people are now selling it with my name so whoever wants to buy authentic Kapfupi material has to be wary of that,” Kapfupi said.
“My DVD is almost done and when it is on the market I will make the information public.”
