It was reminiscent of the incident in October last year when the president stumbled and almost fell over backwards as he tried to climb onto a one-step dais, at the India-Africa Forum Summit in New Delhi, India. Indian Premier Narendra Modi and some aides rushed to his rescue and managed to avert an embarrassing fall for the veteran leader.
