Human-wildlife conflict has become a major concern in Zimbabwe, with many lives lost and properties destroyed due to encounters with wild animals.
The recent attacks in Kariba highlight the need for urgent action to address human-wildlife conflict in Zimbabwe.
"People must desist from taking walks in the early hours of the day when animals are still very active. Sadly, we are losing precious lives due to human-animal conflicts," tour guide Simbarashe Chimbangu told Newsday Live.
