Ishmael Maukazuva Chivhu ward 12 councillor
A CITIZENS Coalition for Change (CCC) councillor has been arrested after he allegedly forwarded a WhatsApp recording of a woman insulting President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Ishmael Maukazuva, the Chivhu ward 12 councillor, is detained at Chivhu Police Station following his arrest.
Maukazuva is being charged for allegedly violating sectipn 64B of the Data Protection Act .
Allegations are that Maukazuva forwarded from one group to another a video of a woman who was insulting Mnangagwa using vulgar language.
He is set to appear in Court on Thursday.
