HARARE, Jan 30 (NewsDay Live) - A policeman stationed at ZRP Chikurubi Camp, suspected to be a mental patient, appeared in court Thursday facing a charge of trespassing into State House.

Magistrate Appollonia Marutya presided over the matter and released the accused, Obatange Nyapfere into the custody of his wife.

Appearing for State, prosecutor Rufaro Chonzi told the court that on January 28 this year, Nyapfere drove his motor vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, into the State House grounds.

Court papers report that Nyapfere demanded to see President Emmerson Mnangagwa. However, he was ordered to leave the premises and later arrested after he refused to budge.
