BULAWAYO, Jan 23 (NewsDayLive) - A 68-year-old man from Mtshede village, Esigodini, has landed himself in trouble after he allegedly stole two donkeys belonging to his neighbours.
The accused, Steven Lusaba appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Beverly Madzikatira on Wednesday and the case was remanded to February 5 after he denied the stocktheft charge.
The court heard that sometime between November 2 and 11, 2023, Lusaba went to the complainant Nhlanhla Ndlovu’s residence and stole two donkeys.
Ndlovu later got a tip-off that his missing donkeys were at Lusaba's homestead.
He proceeded to the accused’s residence and recovered his donkeys valued at US$400 before filing a stock theft report.
