THE Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) last night arrested Uzumba Member of Parliament Wiriranai Muchemwa and councillor Knowledge Chipindu, both Zanu PF, on allegations of theft of trust property.
"They are charged with theft of trust property or alternatively fraud," Zacc said in a statement released on Tuesday.
Uzumba district is one of the ruling Zanu PF party's strongholds.
Muchemwa wrested the seat from longtime serving MP Simbaneuta Mudarikwa also of Zanu PF.
