SOUTH African demonstrators have ignored the South African Police Services (Saps) warnings and gone ahead with their planned shutdown of Musina as well as the major highway to Zimbabwe in protest against increased vehicle thefts, carjacking and smuggling.
The demonstration was organised by villagers in Nieni outside Musina after several vehicles were stolen from Musina a spate of vehicle thefts in Musina and driven over the dry Limpopo riverbed into Zimbabwe.
