SEVERAL Zanu PF members linked to the G40 cabal that was vanquished following the ouster of the late former President Robert Mugabe have finalised the process leading to their re-admission to the party after completing training at the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology.

Former Zanu PF youth leader Kudzai Chipanga, former Harare South MP and political commissar Shadreck Mashayamombe, former Bikita South MP Jappy Jaboon and Wonder Mashange (Rushinga), among others, completed their re-orientation last week.

Mashayamombe applauded President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the party’s presidium and the politburo for allowing him to undergo re-orientation at the School of Ideology.

“I was equipped with some of the things that have been happening when l was not there and also in the structures,” he said.

Chipanga also weighed in saying one learns new things everyday in Zanu PF.

“Yes we attended the school of ideology. In Zanu PF you learn new things everyday and l am still learning,” he said.

Mashayamombe and Chipanga were fired from Zanu PF in 2017 together with several other members aligned to the G40 cabal at the height of Zanu PF factional fights.

Chipanga is known for organising the famous one-million-man march by party youths to show solidarity with the late former President Robert Mugabe in 2016.

The Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology also referred to as Chitepo Ideological College is a Zanu-PF affiliated institution.

The institution is named after national hero Herbert Chitepo.

Zanu PF national political commissar Munyaradzi Machacha is its principal.
