Flamboyant businessman Philip Chiyangwa's former girlfriend, Pamela Rusere is allegedly being sought in South Africa for the murder of her boyfriend and theft of a motor vehicle.
Rusere, who has been at loggerheads with Chiyangwa over the maintenance of their two children, has a warrant of arrest against her issued by the police in that country.
She has also been placed on International Red Notice by Interpol.
A warrant of arrest seen by NewsDay yesterday, was issued on September 3, 2023 by the Midrand Magistrate Court.
She is believed to be hiding in Zimbabwe and is suspected to have Zimbabwean, South African and Malawian passports.
Rusere is being investigated by Sergeant Trom Kwanda Kuhle from South Africa’s Midrand Police Station under case number 7604/2023.
According to information at hand, Rusere is being accused of allegedly stabbing to death David Crawford last year over an undisclosed misunderstanding.
Crawford was found with stab wounds all over his body.

After allegedly committing the offence, she and her two children fled South Africa in Crawford's vehicle.
The children are currently enrolled at a boarding school near Harare.
Rusere allegedly illegally registered the vehicle in her name using forged documents and a fake signature.
The investigating officer allegedly interviewed one of Rusere's children and a recorded statement.
In 2020, Chiyangwa was slapped with two lawsuits, one from his wife Saniso Katerere filing for divorce and Rusere demanding maintenance for the two children.
Rusere approached the civil court demanding school fees of R49 172 per term for the children she claimed were fathered by Chiyangwa.
The claim also included monthly groceries worth R39 450.
Chiyangwa, however, argued that Rusere went to the neighbouring country with the children without informing him, adding that he could not pay the money in forex since the currency was foreign to the jurisdiction of the court.
Chiyangwa also claimed that he had been paying maintenance for the two children, accusing Rusere of using the children to extract more money from him.
The businessman also argued that Rusere was married to another man and had two more children with one Kura Sibanda.
In March 2018, when Elizabeth Juma divorced Chiyangwa after 30 years, she demanded a lion’s share of the family’s US$230 million estate, but she was awarded 85% of the family wealth and $85 000 monthly maintenance for 120 months.
