CCC MP Ngadziore abducted, tortured

Ngadziore, who doubles as CCC national taskforce coordinator was allegedly abducted in the capital early today, tortured, and later dumped in Christon Bank in Mazowe.

Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), has raised concern over a series of violent attacks and abductions on its members since the August 23 disputed polls, with party legislator Takudzwa Ngadziore being the latest victim.

Ngadziore, who doubles as CCC national taskforce coordinator was allegedly abducted in the capital early today, tortured, and later dumped in Christon Bank in Mazowe.

Shortly before his abduction, Ngadziore shared an eerily seven-second Facebook live post where he was being stalked by two armed men believed to be State security agents.

“Ndirikuteerwa (I am being followed),” a panting Ngadziore shouted.

Party deputy spokesperson Gift ‘Ostallos’ Siziba blamed the government for the abduction.

"The regime's abduction of our taskforce coordinator, Takudzwa Ngadziore, in Harare this morning further confirms election rigging and illegal recalls of our MPs and Senators," CCC posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Last week, CCC’s former MP for Mavuku/Tafara, James Chidhakwa, was also abducted, tortured, and injected with an unknown 'substance' before being dumped in Acturus.
