BY CHIEDZA MAZHANGARA YOUNG gospel sensation Bethel Mutemaringa has landed a part-time television presenter role at the newly-opened television channel, 3KTV.
The 11-year-old, who attends Warren Park Primary School in Harare, is one of the youthful presenters at the television station. She has captured the nation with her eloquent and outstanding presenting skills.
“I went to the television station wanting to drop a video of my new song Rimwe Zuva and they were captivated by my talking skills. They gave me a role as a part-time presenter,” Mutemaringa said.
Mutemaringa is one of the presenters of a kid’s show 3K Junior at the station.
“I know I have to balance my music, school and being a television presenter so I usually go to the studios on weekends. I am glad that my parents have been supporting me,” she said.
Her song has also been receiving favourable airplay on different radio stations.
Mutemaringa is following in the footsteps of her brother Blessing, who is also a musician. Blessing has released a single titled Unshakeable.
“I have a big dream of making it in the entertainment circuit,” Bethel said.

Her father and presenter Paul Mutemaringa urged parents to support the career path chosen by their children, adding that parents should not impose career paths for their children.
“We have been supporting Bethel and his brother Blessing. When they told us they want to be gospel musicians, we gave them money to record their music. We are happy as parents and we will continue to support them,” he said.
