Nessanobz credits her success to supporters, including friends, fans and social media followers who have continuously championed her journey.

Rising model Nobesuthu Vanessa, popularly known as Nessanobz, has been nominated for the prestigious Young Achievers Awards, an international recognition celebrating outstanding young talent across Africa.

The nomination marks a milestone in her budding modelling career as it positions her to represent Zimbabwe on a continental stage.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Nessanobz said the awards ceremony was set to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together some of the most talented young individuals from different African countries.

"Although attending the event presents logistical challenges, I remain thrilled and honoured to be acknowledged among Africa’s top models,” said Nessanobz.

The model’s career began as a passion and hobby in Kwekwe before she relocated to Bulawayo in 2021. Determined to take her career to greater heights, she officially pursued modelling in September 2023.

“My dedication quickly paid off, earning me Outstanding Model Award at the Pumula Royal Arts and Culture Awards, my first nomination and victory in the industry,” Nessanobz said.

Now, two years into the modelling scene, she is gaining international recognition, proving that hard work and consistency can turn dreams into reality.

Nessanobz credits her success to supporters, including friends, fans and social media followers who have continuously championed her journey.

“I am what I am today because of their support. I just want to say I have come this far and they should continue supporting and reposting, it takes a community," she said.

Nessanobz said nomination was not just about making a name for herself but also showcasing Zimbabwe’s growing influence in the African fashion and modelling industry.

“Whether I make it to Kigali or not, my journey is already an inspiration to many aspiring models in Zimbabwe and beyond,” Nessanobz said.
