BULAWAYO-BASED up-and-coming artiste Sdakwa Shine is gearing up to release a remix of his song Injabulo, accompanied by its visuals, this Friday.

He released the original song in December last year and has incorporated various artistes in the remix.

Born Nqobani Dube, Sdakwa Shine told NewsDay Life & Style that the song is intended to tell people to always prioritise their happiness.

“This song, which I'm releasing, is titled Injabulo Remix.  It is the remix of the track I dropped in December titled Injabulo. This song talks about freedom and happiness and what we face in life. When you are trying to do what you do for a better life and you find people judging every move you take,” he said.

“The message is stop judging people who are working on having success with happiness in their lives."

He revealed that he collaborated with various artistes in the remix including Lamas Ellz, Ellbe, 808, Don Chimzy and Natho.

He added: "It was recorded and mixed by Mannex and directed by Sad Eyes Production."

Sdakwa Shine is a multi-talented artiste in the rap, kwaito and Afro-pop genres.

He began his music career in 2015 and recorded his first song while he was in Form One.

In that same year, he joined a music group going by the name Yung Hustlers, and started recording songs. He shot his first music video in 2017 which was not successful then he separated with the group.

He has also worked with other artistes including Poison Kid, MK, Volcanic, Cal_vin, Mjox Mjokojoko, ellz, Mnara, Floppy X, 808 and JellyfromtheB, among others.
