SKYLINE River Resort, formerly known as Skyline Motel, has been revived and will tomorrow host a free show featuring Tocky Vibes, Freeman and Sulumani Chimbetu as part of the rebranding exercise.
The hospitality concern is now under the wings of businessperson Shadreck Tiripano.
A Skyline River Resort spokesperson said: “We are hosting a free show featuring top artistes in recognition of the rebranding of the place which is now under new management.
“We expect residents of Southlea Park to come in large numbers in appreciation of the new management and what is in store in 2025.”
She added: “This facility provides residents of Southlea Park a recreational point within walking distance in addition to providing employment to locals.”
The Southlea Park area is an extension of Harare, with most of its residents seeking entertainment in neighbouring suburbs and the resort was opened in a bid to fill the void.
The lodge has eight huts, eight chalets rooms and four deluxe rooms, a restaurant offering fine dining options, a kiosk with traditional meals and braai options, making it a one-stop shop for all types of clientele.
The facility is working towards embracing the theme Tourism and Green Investment by ensuring that the natural fauna is not harmed in the renovation efforts.
