Nyatsoka drops festive season gift

Nyatsoka (31), told NewsDay Life & Style that he was inspired to release the song after meditating on Psalms 145.

GOSPEL musician Takudzwa Nyatsoka yesterday dropped a worship song titled Samasimba which he described as a festive season gift to his followers.

Nyatsoka (31), told NewsDay Life & Style that he was inspired to release the song after meditating on Psalms 145.

"During this season many believers celebrate God's love towards us through the priceless gift of his precious Son Jesus Christ so it's my appreciation of God's mercies and favour throughout tricky times. As everyone is celebrating with family, I felt led to inspire people to do it God's way," said Nyatsoka.

"Samasimba (Almighty) is a worship song, an offering of Thanksgiving for who God is to us and every good gift that he renders in life.

I got the song as I was meditating upon Psalm 145 verse 3."

The song Samasimba was produced by Masvingo based producer Tee Jay.

The musician popularly known for the track Pihwai Mbiri has five albums to his name.

These are Give Unto Jesus Volume 1 (2017), Give Unto Jesus Volume 2 (2018), Bethel (2019), The Ultimate Revival (2020), Bountiful Harvest (2021) and My Strong Tower (2023.
