BULAWAYO up-and-coming artiste YungGlow Dzet has set April 5 next year as the release date for his second amapiano album.

Born Desire Dube (22), YungGlow Dzet is a rising singer from Cowdray Park, who is a music producer and songwriter.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, YoungGlow said he is set to release his second album, which will carry six tracks.

“The album is set to be released April 5 this coming year as part of my birthday celebrations. The album is yet to be named. I am currently working on the first song Stiza,” he said.

“It will comprise different amapiano sounds which include sgija, quantum sounds, a bit of bacardi bringing the dancing vibes and lifestyle of amapiano to Ama2k,” he said.

YungGlow indicated that he has ample time to polish up his works so that he can reach out to a bigger audience.

“I want to focus more on broadening my audience through collaborations with different artistes from different places, countries and cities,” he said.

“I also aim to deliver quality and international content.”

His began his musical career at the age of 18 where he did song remakes, free type beats as well as vocalless tracks.

He released his debut collaborative album with South African singer and songwriter Poplee on his maiden album titled Amapiano Republic: Days of Our Lives, a 10-track album with some tracks featuring the Afro vocalist Maaster Keyz & Mzet.

His song remixes have been doing well on YouTube, with his recently released CPC Stars Dudu RSA featuring Delasmg-wetsalang remix sitting at 18 000 YouTube views and his Busta 929 featuring Boohle Ngixolele Gqom remake at 6 500 views.

He has also performed at various musical and arts festivals and events such as the 2023 Key To The City Youth Arts Festival and the Pumula Royal Arts and Community Awards 4th Edition, where he shared the stage with various musicians from around Zimbabwe.
