TSHOLOTSHO maskandi artiste Thabani Chipalo, popularly known by his stage name Menz’omuhle, says his fans can expect a banger album this coming November.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Menz’omuhle said fans should expect an explosive album.

“I am currently working towards completing my album, which will be launched this coming November and I will host a huge party that will be one to go down in history here in Tsholotsho,” he said.

Hailing from Sipepa, the artiste is no stranger at all in the area, with his fans dubbing him the “Khuzani of Tsholotsho”.

Khuzani Mpungose is a maskandi artiste from KwaZulu Natal in South Africa.

“I am not sure why I have been given this name, but I do, indeed, look up to umfokaMpungose,” he said.

Menz’omuhle said his journey in music started in primary school, where he found himself mostly singing imbube songs.

He went into the studio in 2019 to release his first song Isiphiwo Sami when he was a Lower Six learner at Landa J Nkomo High School in Tsholotsho.

“It is after I released Isiphiwo Sami that people said I should continue making music as they had seen the talent in me,” he said.

After Isiphiwo Sami, the maskandi singer dropped Safa Saphela in the same year.

In the next year, 2020, he released three songs   Uyintombi Enjani, Oseduze Kwakho and Sthandwa Sami (ft Sammy S)   whom Menz’omuhle says sang exceptionally well.

He then released an extended play (EP) titled Oseduze Kwakho, which carried the above-mentioned five tracks, which was well-received by fans.

Alongside Menz’omuhle in the EP is a man popularly known as Ithendele, who played lead guitar in those songs.

Currently, Menz’omuhle works with Master Tshuma, Genius Mabika, Kimpton Tshuma, Privilege Vundla and Equaliser Ncube.

The maskandi artiste doubles as a photographer and does T-shirt printing at the Tsholotsho business centre.

He said he expected change and growth and hoped to continue to learn and progress within his genre of music.

“My fans can find me on Facebook as well as all other social media platforms,” he said.
