Dubbed Family Fun Day Festival, the event is a brainchild of Viva Network Zimbabwe, an organisation supporting vulnerable children particularly orphans, and it is expected to raise funds to empower the children.

“The Viva Network Zimbabwe Family Fun Day is a special event designed to bring the community together while raising vital funds to support over 2,700 vulnerable children in Harare,” Programme Coordinator Basil Tembo said.

Fundraising activities will include a raffle draw where prizes lucky winners will walk away with gifts that include a television set, a smart phone, iron, printer, stationary, humpers, and many other prizes.

Attendees will also participate in zumba, tug of war, bull rides, slides, sack races and other games for children, adults and families.

“This musical experience will not only provide uplifting entertainment but also an opportunity to fellowship, praise and worship God as the Christian community through powerful performances and ministrations by the gospel artists,” said Tembo adding that funds raised will be used to sponsor education, birth registration support, food, stationary, uniforms, sanitary wear for girls, clothing among other basic needs for vulnerable children.

“By participating, attendees contribute to a noble cause that not only strengthens family bonds but also fosters community unity and raises awareness on important child protection issues.”
