AN array of local gospel artistes will join the highly-anticipated award-winning contemporary musical group Maverick City and Kirk Franklin’s Kingdom World Tour in the country at the Glamis Arena on August 12.

The line-up will feature the country’s talented acts such as Tembalami and Takesure Zamar, among others.

In a statement, Kingdom World Tour spokesperson Michael Shoko said the line-up featured Tembalami, Takesure Zamar, vibrant choral group The Unveiled and Joyful Praise Choir.

“Seasoned musician Tembalami will team up with the vibrant choral group The Unveiled, where they are set to perform their hit song Gore Rino alongside many other favourites from their respective repertoires,” Shoko said.

“South Africa-based worshipper Takesure Zamar will also grace the stage, captivating the audience with his all-time gospel classics that are known to create an atmosphere of deep prayer and worship.”

The Joyful Praise Choir, renowned for its voices and electrifying dance performances, will also grace the concert.

Event director pastor Lyncolin Kapswara said he had high hopes for the concert.

“We are thrilled to have such a talented line-up of local artistes joining Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin for the Kingdom World Tour in Zimbabwe,” he said.
