The first edition was held in January where over 300 musicians were taken through basics of music theory and practicals, as well as biblical teachings on worship, in the church.

Musician Wenyasha Chingono will on Saturday host the second edition of the Worshippers Arise Workshop where scores of gospel musicians, including praise and worship teams, are expected to gather in Harare.

The first edition was held in January where over 300 musicians were taken through basics of music theory and practicals, as well as biblical teachings on worship, in the church.

Saturday’s workshop will see renowned producer Tremier Msipa teach upcoming gospel artists on music production and quality control.

Msipa, who has in the past worked with Pastor Bonnie Deushle’s Celebration Church, and Takesure Zamar Ncube among others are expected to inspire upcoming musicians to produce top quality music.

Tatenda Gurupira —leader of dynamic group— of the FIG Worship Culture will also teach on dynamics of praise and worship in church.

Gurupira, also an experienced producer who has worked with South African musicians, brings a wealth of experience.

Among the facilitators is also pastor popular musician Tinashe Murigo, Canada-based Enock Piroro a former Oliver Mtukudzi bassist and South Africa-based Blessing Jeduthun.

“Our speakers are experienced musicians who bring vast experience in industry. We are looking forward to another day of sound teachings which will take our music ministries to another level,” Chingono said in an interview while adding:

“We found it fit to help those who are still new in the industry with information and necessary tools for growth. Testimonies of how these workshops have been coming in of how these workshops have helped musicians.”

The workshop is free and will be held at Christ Unveiling International Ministries in Harare.
