LEGENDARY differently abled singer Tichaona Terrence Green, aka Terry Gee, who lived from August 6, 1987 to December 16 this year, was given a touching send-off as several artistes and church members spent the entire Friday night remembering the singer’s miraculous life.

Musicians and artistes like Derick Mpofu, Lady Squander, Leonard Zhakata, Maskiri, Culture Love, Chipo the Trouble Causer, Svinurai and Dhimba were part of the artists entourage who came to pay their last respects to Terry Gee.

Terry Gee hogged the limelight through his formidable duets with Chipo Muchegwa through such hits as Ndezvemoyo, Makafanana and Zimusoro, among other memorable performances at public and private functions.

Bishop Believe Paradise, who sanctified the funeral service, challenged the congregation especially the youth to exercise self-control and discipline while pursuing their career goals.

Paradise testified that Terry Gee was a dedicated member of his praise and worship choir who could only miss church services due to work pressure.

He also emphasised the importance of family unions in supporting each other’s goals.

“I recognised Terry in a Praise and Worship. He was feeling dejected because a popular producer had refused to accept his feel of music. I would like to thank Tinotenda Green, who supported Terry’s music through dance routines. Tinotenda choreographed the Chamunyurududu dance. Behind Terry’s music there was Tinotenda. She really deserves a better life.”
