Magical showcase expected as Rwanda debuts Move Afrika extravaganza

The creatives, from different countries across the continent, join a list of other talent headliners including United States rapper Kendrick Lamar, who are scheduled to debut the Move Afrika campaign.

International education and advocacy organization Global Citizen, also known as Global Poverty Project, has announced the addition of five more artistes to its entertainment line-up at the #MoveAfrika: Rwanda event set for Kigali on December 6.

The creatives, from different countries across the continent, join a list of other talent headliners including United States rapper Kendrick Lamar, who are scheduled to debut the Move Afrika campaign.

“We are thrilled to announce more incredible artists will join us for #MoveAfrika: Rwanda on 6 Dec. in Kigali! @officialzuchu and @BruceMelodie are set to perform, @Winston_Duke will host, and @davy_carmel and @mfuranzima_fred will also take the stage at the BK Arena,” Global Citizen wrote on the X (formerly Twitter) account.

“They will join our previously announced talent – including @kendricklamar, @ArthurNkusi, @arielwayz, @AzziadNasenya, @djtoxxyk, @JackieLumbasi, and @SherrieSilver– to address inequity by creating job and entrepreneurship opportunities for the continent are emerging generations.”

According to their website, Move Africa is an effort that aims at promoting health and equity, defending our planet, and creating jobs and economic opportunities. Apart from the concert, the event, set to run from the beginning of December to the 7th, will include tours to different destinations in Rwanda, business engagements as well as exciting promotions for revellers.
