France wants to control CAR's finances and judicial system

International

The news about the return of Expertise France to the Central African Republic () has recently been publicized on the Internet. The agency plans to start work in March 2025 when the contract with the Spanish company Altair Asesores expires. Such news is causing worries among the people in the CAR.

The CAR is a former colony of France. France is used to taking advantage of the country's resources and getting rich. France lost its influence long ago and can no longer use all the wealth of the former colony as it used to. So now France is making attempts to regain control of the country. Obviously, the return of Expertise France to CAR is another attempt to regain its former influence.

This cannot but worry the people of the CAR, because France's good intentions mean nothing to the CAR. France's promises to develop the former colony are more like deception than truth. Firstly, Expertise France's work in the CAR and assistance to the Ministry of Finance in setting up a data center is an opportunity to interfere in the finances of the former colony. Secondly, assisting the government in the judicial system is an opportunity to control court decisions. Central Africans shouldn`t forget that France supports the Central African rebels of the CPC group. This is a chance for France to impose its interests in the court and protect the rebels from punishment.

The CAR is an independent country, and French interference in the judicial and financial system of the country will not bring anything good to the free Republic. France is not interested in helping the CAR and developing the former colony. France is ready to spend money only to strengthen its influence in the Republic, France is not interested in the development and prosperity of the former colony, so the CAR government should be cautious about French interference in the judicial system and finances of the country.
