A SPLINTER group of the Zvimba East Veterans Investment Company (Zevic) should swallow its pride and join forces with others to foster unity and development within the war veterans company.
The recent court judgments won by the head office directors, being led by Zevic patron Retired Captain Conerlious Muoni and chief executive officer Retired Major Joe Chimonyo, came as a relief to Zevic.
The defected directors, expected to eat a humble pie, are, however, regrouping and hanging their hopes on falsehoods.
These comrades have no respect for the rule of law and it seems they do not respect the court judgments.
They daily bombard the judgments as fake documents.
All cases they had hinged their hopes on were dismissed with costs.
They are missing great points of law and continue to masquerade as the true company.
When they forged company documents, they were so short of the required quorum and never followed any corporate governance procedure.

All they did from January 2024 was flawed and is also tantamount to fraud.
By quickly swallowing their pride, the defectors and their children will save themselves from further embarrassment that awaits them.
The same defectors withdrew money, not only without any resolutions, but when they were suspended and when they were also already on bail.
The social media platforms they are already gathering material information has blinded them to an extent that they think they can counter production at Zevic.
The defectors and their children are also posting their defence of the pending cases on social media and they continue to peddle lies thinking their ways and behaviour is not known.
They have even tried to write letters to Zvimba Rural District Council and the Local Government ministry in order to tarnish the Zevic housing project.
They did not know that the directors and shareholders had foreseen their destructive tendencies that truly align to the Rhodesian mentality.
They have vowed to disrupt the masses’ project.
However, the seasoned veterans of the liberation struggle are aware and have truthfully defended their project and the struggle continues.
Victory is certain and no individual can distract this noble project of the war veterans.
As Zevic key stakeholders, our job is to support the project and advise the operations and project director Cde Israel Gada, whom we envy and applaud for coming up with such a noble initiative.
When we first heard about the project and the accusations of fraud, we had a job to investigate and establish the truth.
We salute the young commander in the midst of our liberators.
He is not a signatory to the account and has a massive connection with the masses based on his hard work and endless strategies that have seen the company floating, even when the situation was dire.
We continue to urge defectors to seek dialogue while there is still room for such.
