The Botha Mine board and management has warned its stakeholders from dealing with Angela Mpofu, who remains under suspension pending an internal investigation on fraud allegations.

“It has come to our attention that Mrs. Mpofu has been conducting unauthorized meetings with stakeholders at Botha Mine and soliciting funds without the approval or knowledge of the Board.

“ These actions are not only against company policy but also undermine the integrity of our operations and stakeholder relationships,” Botha Mine said in a statement.

“We strongly advise all stakeholders to refrain from engaging with Mrs. Mpofu in any capacity related to Botha Mine. Any dealings outside of official channels are not supported by the Board, and we cannot ensure their legitimacy.”

Botha Mine said it iscommitted to maintaining transparency and upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct.

The company’s former board chairperson Themba Kingsley Hlongwane has since been fired from his position and is also facing various fraud and kidnapping allegations.
