MUTARE-based young entrepreneurs has applauded President Emmerson Mnangagwa for creating an enabling business environment that has led them to flourish in the business sector.Libert Gumende who is popularly known as top striker in the hardware business circles in Manicaland province made the remarks while congratulating Mnangagwa for assuming the SADC chairmanship position. Mnangagwa last week received the SADC badge from the outgoing chairman President Joao Lourenco of Angola symbolising the official announcement of his rein.Gumende, also a Zanu PF youth member in Manicaland province, applauded Mnangagwa for urging youths to tap into business opportunities availed by the government and move out of poverty by empowering themselves and contributing to the country’s economic growth.“First and foremost l want to congratulate our President Emmerson Mnangagwa for assuming the Sadc chairmanship position as a youth who have benefited from his economic policies l am very happy,” he said.“The second republic has opened floodgates of economic opportunities to empower youths in all sectors and help the country to achieve a middle income economy by 2030, the support we are getting as young entrepreneurs will also help towards job creation and total ownership of our economy,” he added.Gumende said he is expanding his hardware business across Manicaland province and with more business opportunities he is working towards expanding countywide.The businessman is also into philanthropic works as he has helped old aged people and the disabled with food.Recently he donated building equipment to wheelchair bound Tendai Mazuru to build his five bedroomed house.
