According to carnival president, Paul Marimberimbe, many companies have shown interest in participating in this year’s edition, with a number having made confirmations.

“We are delighted with the response from companies this year,” Marimberimbe said.

“The interest has been overwhelming and we are confident that this year’s carnival will be the most successful ever.”

The carnival will feature a range of activities, including live music performances, cultural dances, food festivals and sporting events.

It will also provide a platform for local businesses to showcase their products and services, promoting economic growth and development in the region.

The Kariba Carnival is also a significant boost to the region’s tourism industry, attracting thousands of visitors to the town and surrounding areas.

The event showcases the natural beauty of Kariba, with its stunning lake and scenic landscapes, as well as the rich cultural heritage of the region.

By promoting tourism, the carnival helps to support local businesses, create jobs and stimulate economic growth.

“The carnival is an important event for our region, as it helps to put Kariba on the map and attract visitors from all over,” Marimberimbe said.
